PDL

Just found out that some bro/sis from GF will be reading Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren(標竿人生)! So glad that they will be embarking on this 40-day journey together! I read it earlier this year, and it was one of the best 40 days I've ever had in my life. Understanding God's purposes for me has made a tremendous difference in my life! I have known God better, changed my priorities, changed the way I prayed, changed the way I perceived myself, etc. etc. What made the reading experience extra special was that I didn't take the journey alone! I read PDL with a bunch of bro/sis. I will never forget how we exchanged thoughts with one another on what we learnt each day, talked about what shaped us in the past and what we could do to change ourselves to fulfill God's purposes! I hope you all cherish the experience as much as I do.

It's been almost 3 months since we finished, and I will be first to admit I need to do more to apply what I have learnt in that 40 days. Sometimes when I am feeling down, the last thing I remember is the five purposes God has for me. But I know God gave me that reading experience for a purpose, and from time to time, He reminds me of what He has taught me and that I need to focus on Him and Him alone, instead of my own personal drama (believe me, I am good at creating those =) And sanctification is a life-long process. We need to work on it day in and day out. But thank God for everyone of you who walk this walk with me =). Life would be much much more difficult without the love and kindness of bro/sis!
