Hello from Seattle!

Hi all, not sure if anyone is checking my blog, but hello from Seattle!! The birthplace of Starbucks and Nordstrom, and the city of Frasier and Niles! Thanks for all your good wishes. I think I will have a wonderful time here!! Despite a 1.5 hour weather delay yesterday (thank God for cell phone and SMS, otherwise, I couldn't notify my friend and would be really bored during the wait!), I had a smooth flight and was just in time to enjoy a gorgeous Seattle sunset when we were landing! My friend YY picked me up and we had a good time catching up. Although I got up early due to time zone change, thankfully I wasn't sleepless in Seattle and now I am ready for a day of exploring the city on my own. My plan is to walk to Pike Place Market today. It's like Reading Market Terminal, and they have the original Starbucks there. Can't wait!! We have perfect weather here, it's sunny and dry (might be a bit hot though, high is 95 today!!) I think I picked a good week to come out west
